What is GlobalID?
A Swiss digital health passport. Today, it simplifies your medical imaging requests: scan the prescription, choose a centre, send the request. Next, GlobalID will integrate other health documents and services. Your data stays in Switzerland. You stay in control.
Does my insurance cover the exams?
GlobalID changes nothing about your coverage. The centre you choose bills your insurer exactly as today. The app stays out of billing.
Is my medical data safe?
Prescriptions are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and stored in Switzerland with Infomaniak (Geneva). You can permanently delete everything from inside the app at any time.
What services are available today?
Today, GlobalID focuses on medical imaging requests. You scan your prescription, choose a centre and send your request. More health services may be added over time.
Is it paid?
The app is free for patients. No ads, no data resale, no in-app purchases.
What if I don’t have an iPhone?
For now, GlobalID is iOS-only. An Android version is coming — join the waitlist to hear about it first.
